My name is Karlijn, born and raised in the Netherlands. Since I was a child I have always been drawn to creative arts. In 2022 I obtained my Masters in Arts & Culture. When I studied Ceramics in Florence, Italy, I discovered my love for pottery and the therapeutic effect it had on me.
Working with your hands in clay has a way of fully engaging and grounding you – something I am often longing for in today’s busy world. Making pottery is a slow, creative process that forces you to be patient and be in the moment. For me, the process in pottery is always more important than the result.
Pottery has provided me an outlet to express my creativity. My uniquely handmade creations are colorful, organically shaped and functional objects that will brighten your home or garden. Handmade with lots and lots of love and dedication.
